Everything is made fresh daily, and owner Jennifer Dipalo-Foley has inspired takes on different styles of doughnut. She pays homage to the "doughnut dollies" of World War II: volunteers who brought fresh-baked doughnuts to soldiers on front lines. In this tradition, she strives to lift the spirits of anyone facing adversity that comes through the doors. She emulates creme brulee in a cream-filled yeasted donut covered in crunchy, carmalized topping. Another specialty are milk doughnuts, which are filled with whipped marscapone cream and strawberries. Try the black and white cookie-style doughnut while it lasts!

Fika & Hygge, Poughkeepsie

Gift your loved one a delightful assortment of imported candies with a visit to Fika & Hygge.
