POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Hudson Valley locals are invited to join the Hudson Valley Community Gospel Choir, an ensemble that will perform at the inaugural, weekend-long Hudson Valley Gospel Festival in Poughkeepsie on February 21 – 23, 2020.
Adults interested in joining the choir must attend the first rehearsal on Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie. To perform at the festival, choir members must attend all rehearsals (full schedule at dutchesstourism.com/choir.)
The Hudson Valley Community Gospel Choir is directed by Mary Mclymore, and the band master is Rev. Terrence Motley-Epps.

Hudson Valley Gospel Festival 2020, hosted at Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center, Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center and Changepoint Theater, will honor the cultural and spiritual impact the genre has had on the world.
