The Rose Garden is located on the Roosevelt's "Springwood" estate behind the FDR Presidential Library and Museum. The garden features perennials, annuals, 28 different varieties of roses and the original greenhouse. The garden also serves as the burial site for President Franklin D. Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The name "Roosevelt" comes from the Dutch name "Rosenvelt" meaning field of roses.
