Be a Barnstormer in an open air biplane ride at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome! The 1929 New Standard D-25 is a fixture in the Hudson Valley skies offering spectacular views of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. The plane seats up to four passengers for a 15-minute Barnstormer Ride or 30-minute Lighthouse Tour.
Weekend Air Shows run mid-June through mid-October. --- Saturdays: “History of Flight” program highlights the Pioneer era before WWI, a WWI Show teaser, and the Golden Age of Aviation in the ’20s and ’30s. --- Sundays: “WWI Dog Fight Spectacular” with a hero, a heroine, the villainous Black Baron of Rhinebeck, scenery, amazing flying and a WWI tank. The supporting cast includes many antique automobiles.

The Museum, open May through October, 10AM-5PM, features an extensive collection of antique airplanes from the Pioneer era, the Lindbergh Era, WWI and the Golden Age of Aviation.
