Brothers John and Paul Stefanopoulos designed House of Stefas as both a restaurant and a gathering place, opened in June 2025 in the heart of Millbrook. Rooted in the family’s old-world Greek recipes, the menu is shaped by Hudson Valley farms, seasonal restraint, and worldly technique. From small mezze plates to generous mains and Food of the Gods feasts that encourage sharing and lingering, the offerings echo the rhythms of homestyle dining.
Stefas — short for Stefanopoulos — draws on the nostalgic glamour and relaxed elegance of mid-century Athenian Riviera supper clubs, expressed through freestyle Greek cooking and a transportive, layered atmosphere. The experience is intentionally accessible and inclusive, built on filoxenia: generosity, warmth, and a sense of celebration that favors pleasure and the art of living well.
