Hackett Hill Park is the Town of Hyde of Hyde Park’s main park. The Recreation offices are located here, as well as the Hackett Hill Pool. There are 45 acres of parkland which also include hiking trails, a disc golf course, a large community-sized picnic shelter and horseshoe pits.
Access the trails by parking in the parking area and follow the Trail sign to the trail head kiosk for a map of the parkland. The trails are well-marked and are easy hiking. They meander through the woodlands, past large rock outcroppings, past historic stone walls and along the scenic Crum Elbow Creek. Fishing along the creek is popular.
