Celtic Valley Carriage & Farm offers immersive farm visits and horse-drawn carriage rides in the lovely countryside of Clinton Corners. Visitors can book a private scenic carriage ride through the Hudson Valley landscape, meet the horse who will take them on their journey, and discover horse-drawn travel as something more personal than simply a ride.
Celtic Valley's carriage horses are individuals and adored members of our farm family, and the farm's small scale gives guests the opportunity to get to know a little about the horse powering their experience while taking in the scenery at an unhurried pace. Visitors can also spend time meeting the other beloved animals who call Celtic Valley home, including horses and ponies, Nigerian Dwarf goats, and their donkey, with offerings changing throughout the seasons.
At its heart, Celtic Valley is about keeping rural heritage and old traditions connected to the present through animals, art, storytelling, and firsthand participation. Alongside their carriage rides and farm visits, they offer and continue to develop animal-based art workshops and classes, seasonal activities, folklore and heritage-inspired programs, and creative gatherings shaped by the character of the land and its inhabitants. Celtic Valley's goal is to create something personal, imaginative, and rooted in place, giving visitors a chance to slow down, learn something, make something, and feel a little more connected to nature and Hudson Valley farm life.
