Join us on the Homestead for our 1st Annual Community Harvest Festival. Come and enjoy tastes of the harvest season, join in on workshops, farm tours, music and more.
From 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM, join us for pumpkin painting, lawn games, and other fall inspired activities.
Afterwards, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, bring friends and family for apple cider making. Grab and apple and spin the crank to make this delicious fall beverage. After cider making, we'll make apple cider donuts together, and enjoy them on the back lawn during an open backyard picnic. We’ll have a variety of fall inspired foods with ingredients from the farm and other local producers.
At 2:30 PM, we'll gather around to make sauerkraut, one of our favorite fall ferments. Afterwards, we invite guests to walk the land, hike on the Appalachian trail or enjoy a cup of warm cider in hand by the bonfire.
At 4:00 PM, you are invited to take a guided farm tour of the beautiful Homestead farm. Meet the cows and chickens, learn about the farm and our plans for the future.
Activities will be rolling through the day, but please RSVP to ensure we have an accurate headcount!
