Bard Conservatory Orchestra in Concert with Marcus Roberts Trio at the Fisher Center

This concert program spans nearly a century of orchestral music, from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 to Edward Elgar’s Symphony No. 1. Between them, pianist Marcus Roberts and his trio join the orchestra for James P. Johnson’s Yamekraw, a tribute to the Harlem stride master that brings jazz and the symphony orchestra together in a distinctive collaboration.

Concerts in the Sosnoff Theater in the Fisher Center are scheduled for Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.
