Vassar Vintage Bike Night

Head to the Vassar Alumnae Lawn for the Vassar Vintage Bicycle Night! Hosted in conjunction with the Arlington Farmers Market, this free, interactive community event brings together students, faculty, staff, and visitors to celebrate sustainability, functional reuse, and local cycling history.

Event Highlights

• Vintage Bike Exhibition & Contests: Show off your pre-2001 rides! Browse community displays and vote for your favorites. Awards will be handed out across several categories.

• Interactive Services: Stop by to get a portrait taken with your bicycle. Need a quick fix? Visit the hands-on repair and tune-up station, co-hosted by regional cycling partners.

• Community & Advocacy Tabling: Connect with local organizations dedicated to growing bicycle infrastructure and culture across the Hudson Valley. Speak with representatives from BikePoughkeepsie/SPOKE, Destination Dutchess, and Dutchess County Planning, as well as area bike shops, to discover local routes, safety resources, and regional transportation initiatives.
