Walkway Connections (For Kids!): Gliders and Paper Planes

Head to the Walkway Over the Hudson's East Gate Plaza in Poughkeepsie, where kids will be able to design, build, and test their own flying creations! Experiment with hoop gliders and paper airplanes to see how shape, balance, and wing size affect flight. Try different designs and see whose aircraft can glide the farthest or stay in the air the longest. Presented by educators from the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum.
