Starry Starry Night at the Walkway Over the Hudson

Starry Starry Night is a perfect autumn evening beneath the stars at Upper Landing Park in Poughkeepsie celebrating the anniversary of the opening of Walkway Over the Hudson. Enjoy an open-air culinary celebration featuring chef-crafted dishes from Main Course Catering expertly paired with regional wines, brews, and spirits. Live music, art, and surprise performances will create a dazzling, festival-like atmosphere in support of one of the Hudson Valley’s most iconic destinations.

As twilight falls, guests will ascend the Walkway’s glass elevator for exclusive after-hours access to the bridge and spectacular views high above the Hudson River. A brilliant fireworks display will cap off the evening in unforgettable fashion.

This year's event will honor Northwell Health for its commitment to community health and wellness, as well as Stephan Hengst and Patrick Decker of Big Gay Hudson Valley for their leadership in helping foster inclusivity and belonging on the Walkway and throughout the Hudson Valley. Together, the work of these honorees reflects Friends of the Walkway’s mission to create welcoming public spaces that strengthen and connect local communities.
