Arts Mid-Hudson Presents "Asia Today Through the Eyes of an Artist "

All are invited to a talk by Nestor Madalengoitia on his recent travel to the People’s Republic of China and South Korea. The illustrated presentation will feature the arts, culture, and technology he observed along the way. Traditional porcelain, wood carving, and ink art of Asia are the most famous artistic expressions, but contemporary art is thriving both countries. He visited 2,000 year old historic sites and marveled at 21st century airports, fast trains, and beautiful subways. 18 and older welcome.
