Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District Annual Holiday Book Sale at the Hellenic Community Center

The Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District will hold its annual — and popular — Holiday Book Sale from Friday, Nov. 20, 2026 to Sunday, Nov. 22, 2026. 

The Holiday Book Sale is at a new location this year: the Hellenic Community Center. The sale features tens of thousands of gift-quality books in a variety of genres for children, teens and adults priced at $4 or less. A second room full of individually priced vintage items, rare first editions, collectible editions, coffee-table books, and autographed books will also be available for shopping.

The sale is open from 12–7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, and from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 22.
