When Julia was a young girl, she used to go around looking in the backs of closets to see if she could get to Narnia. She was crushed and skeptical when her mother explained that it was "an allegory." But she never lost her belief that there is magic in the world.
The paintings and fairy houses in this exhibit aim to capture that beauty and mystery. These are places where you might find magical beings or portals to other realms or, at the very least, reconnect with your own sense of the otherworldly.
Proceeds from the sale of the fairy houses in this exhibit will go to the Winnakee Land Trust and will qualify purchasers for a charitable tax deduction of 100% of the purchase price.
On display: Oct. 9Nov. 1, 2026
Opening reception: Saturday, Oct. 17, 46 p.m.
Gallery hours: Fridays and Saturdays 126 p.m.; Sundays and Holiday Mondays 10 a.m.4 p.m.; or by appointment or chance.
