Mount Gulian Historic Site "White Glove Tour"

Mount Gulian Historic Site will once again offer its exclusive White Glove Tour on select Wednesdays this September (Sept. 2, 16 and 30) at 1 p.m. This special tour highlights items from the collection that are rarely on display. Following a tour of the house and grounds, visitors will have the opportunity to wear the trademark white gloves to examine artifacts, representing 300 years of Mount Gulian's history, up close and out from the collection storage rooms, giving a seldom found perspective of the past. Items selected for this tour include a Verplanck family bible from the 17th century; documents and artifacts from the 18th and 19th centuries; women’s and men’s Victorian era clothing; military artifacts and more!
