Explore a historic tavern! Step inside the Elmendorph Inn and experience a new exhibit exploring the buildings history as a tavern, gathering place, workplace, and center of community life.
Visitors can explore:
An immersive soundscape that follows the tavern through a full day of activity
Tabletop conversation prompts about food and drink, travel, news, politics, and daily life
Hands-on activities and reproduction objects
Stories of the people who worked, traveled, gathered, and did business here
A take-home tea and punch activity inspired by historic recipes
