The Towne Crier is thrilled to welcome back ukulele marvel Jake Shimabukuro! Since gaining prominence in the early 2000s, Jake has mesmerized audiences with his innovative and dynamic style, taking the instrument to dizzying new heights. After being taught the instrument by his mother at age 4, Jake became a local phenom, and early in his solo career he became a YouTube sensation when his cover of George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” went viral. Since then, Jake has gone on to play the world’s most venerable venues and collaborated with some of the world’s greatest musicians.
