Ballooning Story Hour at Clermont State Historic Site

Have you ever seen Clermont’s famous Balloon Clock? Purchased in France by Robert the Chancellor, the one-of-a-kind clock was created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first successful hot-air balloon flight. Celebrate the history of early flight with an afternoon of 18th century fun, including a story time, historic games, and the launch of a miniature balloon. All ages can enjoy from babies to grandparents. Scaling of activities and one-on-one assistance is available to ensure that everyone of all abilities can enjoy.
