N.Y. Stage and Film Summer Season at Marist: "The Death Chronicles (portraits)" (Play Reading)

New York Stage and Film has been an incubator for emerging and established artists and their work since 1985, and this summer’s festival on Marist University’s scenic riverfront campus features four weeks full of imaginative and insightful plays and musicals. Hundreds of artists trace their developmental roots to New York Stage and Film, including the Tony Award winners "Hamilton" (Lin-Manuel Miranda), "Hadestown" (Anais Mitchell), "The Humans" (Stephen Karam), and "Doubt" (John Patrick Shanley).

• Written by and featuring Obie Award winner and Pulitzer Prize finalist dael orlandersmith and featuring three-time Obie Award winner John Douglas Thompson.

• Note: This performance will be fully bilingual in American Sign Language and spoken English.

• Venue: Symphonic Hall at Marist University, Poughkeepsie
