History Lecture: "The Battle for the Hudson River: The American Revolution"

Town of Poughkeepsie Historic Preservation Commissioner Dan Fannon will discuss the history and importance of the Hudson River as it relates to the American cause for freedom. Dan will describe the struggle between the Continental and British forces to control both the river, with its vital connection between the New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Southern states, as well as the vast agricultural resources of the Hudson River Valley.
