In addition to their weekend air shows, antique bi-plane flights and mid-week Flight Night events, the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome will also be hosting several vintage base ball games featuring the Kingston Guards (baseball was spelled with two words back in the 1800s).

• Friday, June 12, 5:30 p.m. vs. Bovina Dairymen
• Friday, July 10, 5:30 p.m. vs. Ulster Nine
• Friday, Aug. 14, 5:30 p.m. vs. Rip Van Winkle VBBC

Of course, no trip to the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome would be complete without taking your very own flight in an authentic 1929 New Standard D-25 open-cockpit biplane. There is even a Lighthouse Tour that gives you a breathtaking view from the air of Saugerties Light, Rondout Light and Esopus Meadows Light, among the many other treasures of the Hudson Valley. Click here to reserve your biplane flight.

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome's museum is open May 1–Oct. 31, 2026, from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Weekend Air Shows

For the Saturday and Sunday air shows, gates open at 10 a.m., with pre-show activity starting at 2 p.m. and the air show starting at 2:30. Open-cockpit biplane rides are available before and after the air shows from 10 a.m. until twilight. The Saturday "History of Flight" program highlights the Pioneer Era before World War I and the Golden Age of Aviation in the 1920s and 30s. The Sunday air show is the World War I dog-fight spectacular, with a hero or heroine, the villainous Black Baron of Rhinebeck, scenery, pyrotechnics and a World War I tank, along with antique automobiles.
