Dahlia Daze: A Multi-Farm Dahlia Tuber Festival at Foxtrot Farm and Flowers

Foxtrot Farm and Flowers hosts a two-day celebration of dahlias featuring several local farms. Parking reservations are required, and admission is charged by the carload, so be sure to carpool and save! Cars with the most safely packed passengers will be entered to win the Clown Car Award; the winner will receive a free pick-your-own flower bucket at Foxtrot this season!

Here's what to expect this weekend:

• Highly acclaimed local dahlia growers selling a wide variety of tubers and cuttings, including Shoving Leopard Farm, Bear Creek Farm, Petal Creek Farm, Seed On Hudson, Sea Change Farm & Flowers and Titusville Farm.

• Dahlia talk at 2 p.m. Saturday: Local Dahlia Breeding History with The Wappinger Dahlia and Improvement Society.

• Opening weekend for Foxtrot’s brick-and-mortar flower shop.

• Veggie, herb, and flower seedlings and plants from Thistlepass Farm, Ayni Herb Farm, Titusville Farm & Foxtrot Farm & Flowers.

• Fair Play’s Hot Dog Cart featuring local sausages and hot dogs.
