This Spring Community Day, watch and participate as Innisfree comes to life with The Great Pollinator Ramble! For two hours, a roving host of larger-than-life pollinator puppets created by Processional Arts Workshop will inhabit the pathways, groves, and hidden pockets of the garden. Visitors can wander at will seeking out 10 different species of Hudson Valley bees, butterflies, beetles, and birds hidden among the greenery. Guided by a habitat-map and life list detailing each species, aspiring naturalists can learn to identify key pollinators while experiencing the thrill of a landscape buzzing with possibilities.

Call for Volunteer Puppeteers
Come animate a colony of giant pollinator-puppets for The Great Pollinator Ramble, created by guest artists Processional Arts Workshop. Innisfree Garden seeks 2025 agile, mischievous, and physically confident performers (ages 13 and up) to play hide-and-seek with garden visitors amidst the winding pathways and greenery of Innisfree. These lightweight pole puppets require a steady hand, a readiness to flap off the beaten path, and an ability to be playful yet attentive to safety. No experience necessary; one will be provided with all necessary training, breaks, and refreshments.
