World-class guitarist and banjo player Michael J. Miles returns to the Towne Crier for a solo show following his fantastic performance at last year’s soldout Clearwater fundraiser on the Main Stage! Michael J. Miles brings his acclaimed Great American Jukebox series to the stage in a solo concert of instrumental fire and lyrical soul. You’ll hear fingerstyle guitar interpretations of pop hits — George Harrison, Carlos Santana, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, the Beatles — played with nuance and attack, as if hearing a familiar tune for the first time. On the flip side, clawhammer banjo delivers fretless blues, Irish tunes, original compositions, and Bach suites — unfolding from an ancient, parallel "pre-jukebox" universe.
