Before "Rent," there was "Tick, Tick... Boom!" This autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of "Rent," is the story of a composer and the sacrifices that he made to achieve his big break in theatre.
Presented by CENTERstage Productions, "Tick, Tick... Boom!" is directed by Justin Antonio Doro, with musical direction by Russell McCook, and stars TJ DuBrey as Jon, Ryan Hontz as Michael, and Victoria Vogrincic as Susan.
The show will run May 1–17, with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. in The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck's Black Box.
