Gallery 40 Hosts "Words on Wednesday" Featuring Hudson Valley Authors

Head to Gallery 40 on the last Wednesday of every month for "Words on Wednesday," a new reading series that celebrates the diverse voices of Hudson Valley authors. Each month, an author will share insights into their writing process, read selections from their work, and engage in an hour-long discussion about the craft of storytelling. It’s an intimate and engaging way to connect with local writers and their stories.

In the month of May, WoW is hosting Eve Dunbar. Eve is an English professor at Rice University (Texas). She is the author of Monstrous Work and Radical Satisfaction: African American Women Writing Under Slavery (U of Minnesota Press, 2024); and Black Regions of the Imagination: African American Writers Between the Nation and the World; and co-editor of African American Literature in Transition: 1930-1940.
