Beacon Spring Celebration of Light: Year of the Fire Horse

Beacon Spring Celebration of Light will take place on Feb. 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a lantern-filled parade from Polhill Park down Main Street accompanied by the Street Beat Brass Band, the Beacon Bicycle Coalition with decked-out bicycles, and local businesses with their personalized lanterns. The parade concludes at The Yard, where the celebration continues with a family-friendly dance party, a send-off of last year’s Snake lantern and a welcoming for this year’s Horse lantern. Food and drinks are available for free. Everyone is welcome to join throughout the evening.
