The Stissing Center honors its cinematic roots with a two-day celebration of short films created by Hudson Valley filmmakers. Each evening features a completely different program of short films, with a brief Q&A after every screening, giving audiences a chance to meet the filmmakers and hear their stories. With four to six films shown each evening and discussions moderated by community members, the festival is designed not as a competition but as a celebration of creativity and connection.

Highlights of filmmakers and their films include:
• Keith Reamer & Murphy Birdsall (Pine Plains) — "Memories/Dreams, Our Farms, Our Farmers"
• Brian Gersten (Hudson Valley) — "Hollywood’s Mermaid: The Esther Williams Story"
• Britt Ko (Hudson Valley) — "Rosey’s"
• C. Fraser Press and Darren Press (Stanfordville) — "A Cow in the Sky"
• Forge Media/The Art Effect (Poughkeepsie) — "Into the Artist’s Mind: A Conversation with John Greene"
• Patrick Trettenero (Pine Plains) — "Mr. Marty Pants"
• Stan Hirson (Pine Plains) — "A Farrier... What’s That?"
• Mark Christopher (Hudson Valley) — "Alkali, Iowa"
• Matt Bartolomeo (Hudson Valley) — "Pete’s Jeeps"
