The Stony Kill Foundation presents its popular annual Butterflies & Blooms program featuring a week of exploration, music and workshops that celebrate local pollinators! It starts on Aug. 9 and culminates with the annual Butterflies & Blooms Festival on Aug. 16.

• Soapmaking for Gardeners (10 a.m.–12 p.m., Learning Center)

Aug. 11

• Storytime and Pollinator Discovery (10 a.m., Greenhouse)

Aug. 12

• Insect Safari and Bug Pinning (12 p.m. Woodland Trailhead)

Aug. 13

• Storytime and Butterfly Crafy (11 a.m., Manor House and Perennial Garden)

Aug. 14

• Community Science: Finding Monarchs (4 p.m., Greenhouse)

• Evening Moth Walk (8 p.m., Manor House Lawn)

Aug. 15

• Beginner Bird Walk (9 a.m., Manor House)

• Starting a Pollinator Garden (10 a.m.–12 p.m., Learning Center)

Aug. 16

Butterflies & Blooms Festival (4–7:30 p.m.) — Enjoy an evening on the farm with music, food, monarch magic, and rides on the butterfly wagon. The festival is free and open to all ages. Rain date: Aug. 17.
