The action is taking off at the Aerodrome all summer long, with air shows every weekend from June 14–Oct. 19!

During Time Warp Weekend (July 19 and 20), the air shows will be moved back to 5 p.m. (rather than the usual 2:30 p.m.) to allow for cooler weather and avoid afternoon storms. Open-cockpit biplane rides are available before the air shows starting at 12 p.m. The snack stand and museum will open at noon. Dress in vintage attire and enter the costume contest!

The Saturday "History of Flight" program highlights the Pioneer Era before World War I and the Golden Age of Aviation in the 1920s and 30s. The Sunday air show is the World War I dog-fight spectacular, with a hero or heroine, the villainous Black Baron of Rhinebeck, scenery, pyrotechnics and a World War I tank, along with many antique automobiles.

Of course, the stars of the show are the historic airplanes. There are usually between 15 and 20 flyable aircraft for each show.
