Join the Fishkill Historical Society in welcoming Ben Franklin reenactor Jack Sherry to the Van Wyck Homestead Museum! Jack's excellent portrayal of Ben Franklin is always entertaining and educational. Jack's presentation will celebrate this country's independence by providing attendees with insider details on how the Declaration was drafted and what was removed before it was sent to King George III. This is a great way to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the start of the Revolutionary War in 1775 with the Battles of Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts.
