In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Millbrook Historical Society is hosting two special programs about Quaker history at the Nine Partners Meeting House.

• June 29, 2 p.m. — "Quakers, Antislavery and the American Revolution." University of Pennsylvania professor Sarah Gronningsater speaks about the role of the New York Quakers in the rise of antislavery sentiment and activism in the 18th century.

• July 27, 2 p.m. — "Nine Partners Meeting House Plan: A New Form in the Hudson Valley." Carl Lounsbury of the College of William and Mary speaks about the architecture of the Nine Partners Meeting House in the context of other 18th-century houses of worship.
