The East Fishkill Historical Society hosts this popular annual event featuring live music, tours of the farmhouse and other buildings, demonstrations, animals, children’s games, food for purchase and, of course, their famous Strawberry Shortcake (while supplies last).

Built around 1755, the Brinckerhoff House was built by John G. Brinckerhoff and his wife, Marie Teboss, and was later expanded by John's brother, George. Both John and George served in the Dutchess County Militia during the Revolutionary War. Nowadays, the historic site is preserved by the East Fishkill Historical Society, including the Dutch-style farmhouse, icehouse, carriage barn, blacksmith shop and schoolhouse on site.
