Runes are the secrets of Viking magic and mysticism. They are woven into the fabric of creation and speak to those who work with spirits and knit charms and spells of luck, healing, and abundance. Won by the God Odin, through ordeals of power, northern tradition spirit-workers and shamans engage with the runes in the practice of divination: reading the luck and fate of those who seek them out, and prescribing means of healing, untangling knots, improving life, and bringing good things into one's life.
In this workshop, participants will learn what the runes are, a bit about the tradition from which they come, and three simple yet crucial methods of discernment and meditation to deal with stress, develop discernment, and to move in the world every day with confidence, clarity, and strength. Each participant will receive a one rune reading, which will provide guidance and insight into the patterns and challenges that he or she faces right now.
About Galina: Galina Krasskova holds a master's degree in religious studies, a master's degree in Medieval Studies, and is currently finishing her PhD in historical Theology. She has also been a "Vitki," a master of runes, a northern tradition shaman and spirit-worker for more than 30 years. Galina has also written dozens of books on the Northern Tradition, devotion, spirit work, and runes.
