New Work Preview at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park: Gibney Company

Kaatsbaan artists-in-residenceGibney Company show a new commission by choreographer Peter Chu, who is working with the company during their residency at Kaatsbaan. Chu's creative process is holistic and mindful, incorporating qi gong and taiji principles to enhance movement quality and imagery. He guides dancers to connect with their environment, surrender to the intangible, and let their inner sensations direct their movements. A captivating soundscape immerses the audience in a space where pulse and rhythm intertwine. After the performance, audience members are part of a Q&A with the artists.
