Combine all the beauty and excitement of a fireworks display with the splendor and majesty of the Hudson River at night, and you have one unforgettable Independence Day celebration! Watch the City of Poughkeepsie’s annual fireworks show with an unobstructed view from the Walkway Over the Hudson. The Walkway will close to the public late in the afternoon that day and reopen for those with valid tickets to the event. Space is limited. This event sells out every year.
