The Howland Cultural Center presents a special exhibition featuring artwork, photography, artifacts and memorabilia from two of Dutchess County’s most iconic landmarks: Bannerman Castle and the Towne Crier Cafe. The exhibition will run from Jan. 11–Feb. 23 and will showcase fine art paintings, watercolors, prints, photography, and classic posters by contemporary Hudson Valley artists. Most are available for purchase.

Everyone is invited to the free public reception on Jan. 11 from 1–3 p.m. Enjoy some refreshments as you chat with participating artists; be sure to stick around for some surprise musical guests!

Known as the "Jewel of Beacon," the Howland Cultural Center was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The building's superb acoustics make it the perfect venue to host performances of all types. This special exhibition starts the Howland Cultural Center's exciting 2025 Gallery Season. The gallery is open most Saturdays and Sundays from 1–5 p.m. with weekday visits available by chance and by appointment.
