Art Opening Reception at Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center

The Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center will hold a free public art opening reception in the Victorian Gallery for Melanie Gonzalez on Jan. 10 from 5–7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Melanie Gonzalez is a fine photographer artist who creates multimedia films, wearable arts and textiles, photographic prints, and community art productions. Born and raised in the Bronx, her professional practice in the arts stems from an upbringing engaged in music, theater, sculpture and nature, all in the heart of NYC. Her exhibition at the Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center at 9 Vassar Street, Poughkeepsie, will be on display from Jan. 3–Feb. 28.

The Victorian Gallery at 9 Vassar Street is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
