Performances of the Family-Friendly Sinterklaas Show "Into the Light"

Event organizers have announced that the annual Sinterklaas Festival in Rhinebeck has been canceled for December 2024.

There will, however, be three performances of "Into the Light," the family-friendly show created for the Sinterklaas Festival which features the magic of Arm-of-the-Sea Theater's giant puppets and The Vanaver Caravan's global dance repertoire and tells the story of a young girl in search of her community as she visits holiday traditions around the world. Through dance and music, "Into the Light" honors holidays such as Christmas, Chanukah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Sankta Lucia, Yule, and Winter Solstice.

Performances are set for Dec. 7 at 1:30, 2:45 and 4 p.m. at the Rhinebeck Reformed Church. Admission is free but reservations are required. Click here for details.
