The Orchestra Now, the visionary orchestra and masters degree program at Bard College, presents a two-week festival celebrating the sesquicentennial of Charles Ives, the leading American concert composer of his time. The festival will include concerts and discussions on the Bard Campus from Nov. 916 (all of which are open to the public) before culminating in a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Nov. 21.

Saturday, Nov. 9
"Ives and the Piano," 6 p.m. at Olin Hall, Bard College (Recital, readings, artwork, and discussion)
Saturday, Nov. 16
"Charles Ives: A Life in Music," 5 p.m. at Olin Hall, Bard College (Scripted playlet with songs and commentary)
"Charles Ives' America," 7 p.m. at the Fisher Center, Bard College (Orchestral concert followed by a discussion)
Sunday, Nov. 17
"Charles Ives' America," 2 p.m. at the Fisher Center, Bard College (Orchestral concert followed by a discussion)
"Charles Ives: A Life in Music," 5 p.m. at Olin Hall, Bard College (Scripted playlet with songs and commentary)
