Enjoy tea and refreshments in the formal dining room at the Mills family's opulent Gilded Age mansion while listening to the Gilded Age history of Halloween. Historian Carol Kohan will present "Jack O’Lanterns and Jollity: Hallowe’en Celebrations in the Gilded Age" and trace how the ancient Celtic festival was fashioned into a high-spirited American celebration. Costumes are welcome!
