The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum introduces its new monthly program, where kids get the chance to meet diverse professionals from exciting STEAM careers — scientists, engineers, artists, and more! They’ll hear inspiring stories, learn what motivated these experts to pursue their paths, and get a glimpse into their daily work.

Each session will feature a hands-on activity or craft that ties into the profession, offering a fun and interactive way for young minds to explore potential passions. It’s the perfect opportunity to spark curiosity and be inspired by the leaders of tomorrow!

This session will feature an entomologist, a scientist who studies insects and other invertebrates. Come learn about what makes these critters so important from Timothy Lampasona, a lecturer at Vassar College.
