Sunflower Picking and Live Music at Hudson Valley Cold Pressed Oils

Hudson Valley Cold Pressed Oils will host evening sunflower picking events with live music and great food and beverage options during the final weekend of its seventh-annual public sunflower-picking season, which is expected to conclude Sept. 1 (check their Facebook and Instagram pages or their website for updates).

Performance schedule: Aug. 30, Azulado; Aug. 31, Christian Anthony Band; Sept. 1, She’s My Ex.

Flower picking is $3.50 per flower or fill one their buckets with flowers for $35 (bucket not included in the price). Clippers will be available, but you may bring your own, as it can get very crowded at times.

There will be food and beverages available for purchase on site. Enjoy items off the grill, like burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers and sausage and peppers, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Wash it down with a selection of local beer, cider and Millbrook Vineyards wines. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. There will be Adirondack chairs and a few picnic tables available, or bring your own outdoor chairs or picnic blankets to stay and enjoy the view. Don’t miss out on the amazing sunsets!
