Enjoy a free, self-guided, family-friendly tour designed to promote the artwork and talents of local artists. Over Labor Day weekend, 30 artists will open their studios to the public, share their creative environments and help visitors understand the inspiration that drives their passions. Participating artists of all sorts — including painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramic artists, textile artists and mixed media artists — are located in Red Hook, Tivoli, Rhinebeck, Rhinecliff, Hyde Park, Staatsburg, Clermont and Germantown.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, but many studios may also be open on Labor Day, Sept. 2.
