Join the local art scene in celebrating the inaugural ArtEast Plein Air Paint-Out and Auction!

Participating artists will be setting up in areas around the Harlem Valley and Pawling and creating their works of art. A general list of locations can be found here.

The event culminates in a reception — free to the public — rain or shine, at Lakeside Park. Starting at 5 p.m., patrons will be able to meet the artists, view their work created that day and vote for the People’s Choice Award of $200. Enjoy delectable treats from Dancing Bear Cafe of Pawling. At 6 p.m., a live auction will begin. This event is a collaborative fundraiser for the participating artists and the Oblong Land Conservancy, a non-profit organization whose mission is to maintain the natural resources of the Harlem Valley, to include wildlife habitats, water quality, agricultural lands and scenic vistas, through engagement with the community.
