BAU Gallery July Exhibitions and Opening Reception

BAU Gallery presents the opening of its July exhibitions: A BAU artists group show titled "Juncture and Rift" and a ceramics group show titled "Get Stoked!"

An opening reception for both exhibitions will be held July 13 from 6–8 p.m. BAU Gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12–6 p.m. or by appointment. Both exhibitions will be on display until Aug. 4.

• Gallery 1: "Juncture and Rift" group exhibition with BAU Gallery artists: BAU Gallery shares work by all gallery artists in a group exhibition that represents the range and depth of the gallery’s roster, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textiles, and video. Gallery artists in this exhibition are Bob Barry, Daniel Berlin, Eileen Sackman, Ilse Schreiber-Noll, Jebah Baum, Joan Harmon, Joel Brown, Karen Allen, Kelly M. O’Brien, Linda Lauro-Lazin, Mary McFerran, Nataliya Hines, Pamela Zaremba, and Robin Adler. BAU artists are all working professional artists who exhibit their work regionally, nationally, and internationally.

• Gallery 2 and Beacon Room: "Get Stoked!" ceramics group show: This exhibition celebrates the achievements of two communities of artists. The Juniata College Ceramic program hosted 11 participants from the Art School at Old Church for its first collaborative wood firing. Juniata’s professor, Rob Boryk, and The Art School at Old Church’s instructor, Eileen Sackman, led the group in a week-long firing. "Get Stoked!" serves as a testament to the transformative power of collaboration and community. Participating artists include Aaron Hill, Annick Des Roches, Antonia Noonan, B.J. Watson, Eileen Sackman, Gail Rutigliano, Jude Parsells, Kathryn Crawford, Megan Woods, Naomi Hirscfeld, Natalie Dumar, Rachel Dove, Rob Boryk, Samantha Goldstien, Susan Bogen, and Sydney Ruckdeschel.
