BAU Gallery Hosts "Points of Origin" Guided Meditation with Robin Adler

"Points of Origin" guided meditation with Robin Adler is a meditation to promote connection, integration and resilience. This event complements Robin's first solo exhibition with BAU, "Points of Origin."

Throughout life, there are new beginnings, each a genesis of possibility from which you may emerge transformed. As both artist and psychotherapist, Adler is interested in exploring these moments as they become imbued with meaning and take on new forms. Rich with symbolism and synchronicities, these in-between spaces invite you to stand at a threshold looking forward, through an expansive portal of possibilities.

Adler’s use of line, color, marks and shapes is intuitive and expressive, and she discerns relationships and conversations between these elements. Adler intuits the influence each has over the other, how they change and are changed by each other, and she builds on these relationships until new ones are discovered. The canvas is a living, breathing form — emerging, changing, ever growing. In this debut solo exhibition of paintings and monotypes, she invites you to consider how your experience is shaped by the portal between what is present and what is yet to come.
