Attention all science and book lovers! The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum is excited to bring together the best of both worlds for a day of fun, learning, and exploration!

Meet New York Times bestselling authors and award-winning children’s book illustrators. Say hello to Clifford and Peter the Cat during the book character meet-and-greet! Bring your favorite book or purchase it at the event and get it signed by the author as you jump into summer reading.

Have a cuddly encounter with the animal friends provided by the Two-by-Two Animal Haven. Plus, face painting, science experiments, free crafts, kid-friendly vendors, food trucks and lots more! This event takes place in the Museum Pavilion and is free. Make a day of it and visit the museum, too! (regular museum admission applies).
