Dutchess County Classic Road Races

The Mid-Hudson Road Runners Club presents the 45th-annual Dutchess County Classic. This year's Classic features several races spread over two days. There is a 1k Kids Fun Run, a 5k, a 10k, a half marathon and a half marathon wheelchair race. All courses are flat and scenic and showcase the beauty of the Hudson Valley. The 10k and half marathon courses will enter the Hudson Valley Rail Trail via the Morgan Lake Trailhead and will include an out-and-back over the Walkway Over the Hudson.

With events of various distances, the Classic is perfect for runners of all ages and abilities. Each race takes place on a USATF-certified course and is professionally timed. Click here to register for any of the races.

Here is a look at the two-day schedule:

Sept. 14 at Robinson Lane Park, Wappingers Falls: Kids 1k Fun Run, 8:30 a.m.; 5k race, 9 a.m.

Sept. 15 at Dutchess Community College (Lot E), Poughkeepsie: Half marathon events and 10k, 7:30 a.m.
